Jesus Christ Eternal Word

Do we really understand (John 1:1-5), when John the author writes about Jesus Christ being the

eternal word? Do we understand the meanings of the verse and able to explain the true meanings

to others?  It is very important my friend for us to completely understand what John meant, John 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

He was in the beginning with GodAll things were made through Him, and without Him

nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.......>

Let Us Pray; Dear heavenly Father, in your name, name of your son and of the Holy Spirit we pray in the trinity

that we learn and understand all of your Holy Words, that through your power that may not sin, that we may not

hurt you and our neighbors or our enemies, and we pray just as you are just that we too shall always be just,

in all of our judgments, and actions, and in our thinking AMEN!

The Eternal Word - John 1:1-5

1) John 1:1a - In the Beginning, Jesus Christ is the Word - Through Gods word, that is through Jesus Christ

that he came to us in order to reveal Gods heart, mind, works and complete attributes to us as Jesus Christ has

said "He that hath seen Me hath seen the Father" (John 14:9).  Now according to The Bible Exposition

Commentary (NT) a "WORD" is composed of letters, and Jesus Christ being Alpha and Omega

(Revelations 1:11), to which is the beginning and the end of the Greek Alphabet, also showing us that he is the

eternal word.

Now Jesus Christ is Gods last words to mankind, since he is the Omega, the end.  So in this Jesus Christ is

eternal and was not created since he existed before creation.  Now Jesus Christ has sent the disciples and

Apostle Paul out to give us instructions on how to live  a Holy Christian Life that is pleasing to God, through

Christ (Eph 1:4, 5:27, 1Pe 1:15-16), So that we can be presented as the Bride of Christ without Blemish, in

Holy Perfection (Eph 5:27, 1Pe 1:19).

2John 1:1b and 1:2 - Jesus Christ was with God - The term that John uses, expresses his friendship or

intimacy with God, this is the meaning of "Was With God" for Jesus Christ was partaker of God's Divine Glory

before the creation of the world (John 17:5, 1:18). So therefore Jesus Christ was united with God in the

Beginning.

3John 1:1c - Jesus Christ was God - In this sense of John's meaning that Jesus Christ is eternal as God is

eternal, and he is equal to God with the same glory and in power, and works they are equal with all authority.

For God and Jesus Christ has all the same attributes, in mind, in heart and in spirit. For the son is always equal

to the Father in all things including their personality.

As Barnes Commentary Notes also Puts it; John 1:1 that the second person may be called by the same name

has the same attributes; performs the same works; and is entitled to the same honors with the first, and that therefore he is "the same in substance, and equal in power and glory," with God.

To put it into human terms is that my biological son Joshua is equal to me, his dad, in personality, heart and

mind, in all attributes even with the same temperament.  My son has learned from me as Jesus Christ has learned

from his Father (God) (John 8:28).  When you see my son Joshua, you also have seen me since he is exactly like

me, Like when you see Jesus Christ you also see God (John 14:9).

4) John 1:3 - All things made through Jesus Christ - As we see here that Jesus Christ and God are one as

stated in the previous verses, so in that, Jesus Christ being the word, and God who spoke the word all things

were created through Jesus Christ and for him and nothing was made without him (Colossians 1:16-17).  God

spoke the word, when he created all things and that word was Jesus Christ.

5John 1:4 - Jesus Christ The Light and Life of the world - As we know that he is the word and all things

were made through him making Jesus Christ the life of the world, but not just that but he also gave man life

through himself Jesus being crucified on the cross.  He gave mankind in the beginning life by breathing his spirit

into them and now he gives life by Baptizing them with the Holy Spirit that gave mankind new life and restored

mankind (those with faith) to God through himself. So with that mankind is the light of Christ since it is Christ

that shines through them to the world, that bears witness regarding Jesus Christ as our Messiah, Teacher, Son

of God and God in the flesh.

6) John 1:5 - The Darkness did not understand the Light - People will either love the light, that is Jesus

Christ or they will love the darkness, that is satan, which is loving their own sins, to make their selves their own

gods, thinking they control their own lives and destines when satan actually controls them and keeps them from

seeing Gods Holy Truths.  So then those that love the darkness does not understand the light of Christ that

shines through Christ servants, because they are blinded from the truth, (Ro 2:19, Rev 3:17) so instead most

people on earth will hate Jesus Christ servants (Mt 24:9, Jn 15:18, 17:14, Mt 5:10-12, 24:9, Jn 15:20,

2Tim 3:12), they hate that light that shines through them, through the darkness of this wicked world!
