Jesus, Old Testament

Disciple John alone confirms Jesus Christ was here before the creation of the world as countless numbers of scriptures such as; John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word (JESUS CHRIST), and the Word (JESUS CHRISTwas with God, and the Word (JESUS CHRIST) was God. 2 He (JESUS CHRIST) was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him (JESUS CHRIST), and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him (JESUS CHRIST) was life,..>

Let Us Pray; Dear heavenly Father, in your name, name of your son and of the Holy Spirit we pray in the trinity

that we learn and understand all of your Holy Words, that through your power that may not sin, that we may not

hurt you and our neighbors or our enemies, and we pray just as you are just that we too shall always be just,

in all of our judgments, and actions, and in our thinking AMEN!

1) The Eternal Word - John 1:1-5Genesis 1:1-31, (See Genesis 1:26-27 for in "OUR" image)

a) John 1:1a - In the Beginning, Jesus Christ is the Word - Through Gods word, that is through Jesus Christ

that he came to reveal Gods heart, mind, works and complete attributes to us as Jesus Christ has said

"anyone who has seen me has seen the Father" (John 14:9).  Now according to The Bible Exposition

Commentary (NT) a "WORD" is composed of letters, and Jesus Christ being Alpha and Omega

(Revelations 1:11), to which is the beginning and the end of the Greek Alphabet.

Now Jesus Christ is Gods last words to mankind, since he is the Omega, the end.  So in this Jesus Christ is

eternal and was not created since he existed before creation.  Now Jesus Christ has sent the disciples and

Apostle Paul out to give us instructions on how to living  a Holy Christian Life that is pleasing to Jesus Christ

(Eph 1:4, 5:27, 1Pe 1:15-16), So that we can be presented as the Bride of Christ without Blemish (Eph 5:27,

1Pe 1:19).

b) John 1:1b and 1:2 - Jesus Christ was with God - The term that John uses, expresses his friendship or

intimacy with God, this is the meaning of "Was With God" for Jesus Christ was partaker of God's Divine

Glory before the creation of the world (John 17:5, 1:18). So therefore Jesus Christ was united with God in

the Beginning.

c) John 1:1c - Jesus Christ was God - In this sense of John's meaning that Jesus Christ is eternal as God is

eternal, and he is equal to God with the same glory and in power, and works they are equal with all authority.

For God and Jesus Christ has all the same attributes, in mind, in heart and in spirit. For the son is always

equal to the Father in all things including their personality.

As Barnes Commentary Notes also Puts it; John 1:1 that the second person may be called by the same

namehas the same attributes; performs the same works; and is entitled to the same honors with the first,

and that therefore he is "the same in substance, and equal in power and glory," with God.

To put it into human terms is that my son Joshua is equal to me, his dad, in personality, heart and mind, in all

attributes even with the same temperament.  My son as learned from me as Jesus Christ has learned from his

Father (God) (John 8:28).

d) John 1:3 - All things made through Jesus Christ - As we see here that Jesus Christ and God are one as

stated in the previous verses, so in that, Jesus Christ being the word, and God who spoke the word all things

were created through Jesus Christ and for him and nothing was made without him (Colossians 1:16-17).

e) John 1:4 - Jesus Christ The Light and Life of the world - As we know that he is the word and all things

were made through him making Jesus Christ the life of the world, but not just that but he also gave man life

through Jesus being crucified on the cross.  He gave mankind in the beginning life by breathing his spirit into

them and now he gives life by Baptizing them with the Holy Spirit that gave mankind new life and restored to

God through Jesus Christ. So with that mankind is the light of Christ since it is Christ that shines through them

to the world, that bears witness regarding Jesus Christ.

f) John 1:5 - The Darkness did not understand the Light - People will either love the light, that is Jesus Christ

or they will love the darkness, that is satan, which is love their own sins, to make their selves their own gods,

thinking they control their own lives and destines when satan actually controls them and keeps them from

seeing Gods Holy Truths.  So then those that love the darkness does not understand the light of Christ that

shines through Christ servants, so instead most people on earth will hate Jesus Christ servants, they hate that

light that shines through them, through the darkness of this wicked world!

2) Before creation, who was with God?  -  You will notice my friend in the following scripture, Gen 1:26, that

God Said; Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.  The words here that are used are "our" and "us", in

a plural sense meaning more than one person. This meaning does include more than one person.  It is referring to

many persons.

It is written; Genesis 1:26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our imageafter our likeness. And let them

have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the

earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." ESV Now who was God referring to when he

said the words "our" and us"?  God was referring to the Son of God (Jesus Christ & the angels.

3) God Loved Jesus his son before Creation - It is written; John 17:24 Father, I desire that they also,

whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you

loved me before the foundation of the world.

Now my friend, let me ask you a question. How can God love his son Jesus Christ, if Jesus was not there

before the world was created? Now as far as Jesus Christ is God and yet Gods son, I don't think anyone on

earth can understand or comprehend how that works exactly.  Not with our small carnal minds, especially since

we have never been there in the spiritual realms of heaven with God.  (This Part Takes Faith My Friend).  One

possible way to explain that though is as you seen my biological son Joshua you have seen me (Darryl) also is

that Joshua has the same personality, min, heart, and behaviors as I his dad does.

4) Jesus Christ visited Abraham  (See Genesis 18:2-3)  -  Three men approached Abraham for one to let

Abrahams wife Sarah know that later she will have a son to which would be Isaac, and number 2 the men

(Jesus & 2 Angels) decided to also let Abraham know that they were about to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah.

In reality these men (The 2 Angels) that went ahead to destroy those 2 cities because of their wickedness. The

third man was Jesus Christ himself.  The spirit of the Lord reveled this to me.  The 3rd man (Jesus) did not go

with the other 2 men (Angels) to destroy the 2 cities.  I am not sure why Jesus did not go with the 2 Angels.

5) Jesus Christ with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (See Daniel 3:23-26)  -  King Nebuchadnezzar

threw 3 men, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego into a fiery furnace because they refused to bow down and

worship the statue that Nebuchadnezzar has built.  While in the fiery furnace Nebuchadnezzar noticed that there

were 4 people in the furnace and that the fire was not touching the men at all.  The 4th person my friend was

Jesus Christ that was there in the furnace with the 3 men, cause King Nebuchadnezzar said that the 4th looked

like the Son of the gods (Son of God) . We know there is only one God though. King Nebuchadnezzar was not

a Jew and believed in many gods as most pagans do.

6) Over 300 Old Testament Prophecies Concerning Jesus Christ  -  Friend it took over 5000 years in order for

the Holy Jewish/Christian Bible to be written by many different authors who were inspired & filled by the Holy

Spirit (Spirit of God) and as it is written in 2 Timothy 3:16, we can learn from all scriptures in learning how to be

righteous and Holy in Gods Holy ways,  for without Holiness no one will see God, (Heb 12:14).

The Old Testament  prophecies foretells the coming of the Promised Messiah, the savior of the world, that will

save his people (Future Born Again Christians/Spiritual Jews), the Elect/Predestined) from their sins, so that

they may finally have hope of a eternal life.  See The Complete List of the Over 300 Prophecies . The Prophecy list is
